Weltenmachen – Von Miniatur bis Monumental28.6.–1.11.2020Museum Bruder Klaus, Sachseln (CH)

The “world makers” are twelve contemporary artists from Switzerland and Israel. They are showing landscapes of the mind: historical, visionary, and fantastic scenes that point beyond our supposed reality. They unite documentary, narration, and the crafts. Historical models by Marius Rappo and their creation provide the prelude to a voyage of discovery in the museum. It leads from tiny urban landscapes to collages of monumental size, from sequin images to computer-generated panoramas, and from drawn pixels to painted memoirs.
With works by: Stefan Bucher-Twerenbold, Frédéric Clot, Sabine Hertig, Monica Ursina Jäger, Ofra Lapid, Lukas Liederer, Marius Rappo, Stefan Rogger, Marco Scorti, Olga Titus, Matthias A. K. Zimmermann and Peter Storrer.
